"How could you sign with the Surfriders, when you are coaching the Lobsters?"

"Are you jumping ship because you just lost your 7th in 10 games?"

"Is Ken trying to squeeze you out?"

Chaos broke out after the Jamaica-Long Beach game. As reported earlier, Sean was announcing his new manager, future Hall of Famer Mike Castro. That was a great move by the Surfriders, but there seemed to be a little problem, as he was managing that very moment in The Lobster Tank.

Lobster's owner Ken Paplanus was seen laughing when questioned about the status of his manager. "We're in a pennant race. I spoke to Mikey before the game and was puzzled when I saw him on TV at the Surfrider's press conference. Clearly that must be some sort of impostor."

When questioned himself, Mike Castro said, "I don't know what the [expletive removed] is going on here. Unless there is some crazy cloning B.S. going down, I'm the manager of the Lobsters and the Lobsters only. As interesting of a job managing for Sean's [Uezu] team would be, I'm very happy to be where I am. If you have any questions about our team, ask away... but as far as my job I'm done discussing this [expletive removed]."

Calls to Surfriders went unanswered, but a press release that was submitted earlier mentioned that the Mike Castro apparently hired by the Surfriders was indeed an impostor and that G.M. Ryu Nobeoka and managing partner Sean Uezu were currently looking for a manager. No timetable has been set and that former Nuku'alofa Unga'bungas manager and current Surfrider pitching coach Sandy Koufax will take over the managing duties till a manager can be found.
