KINGSTON (AP) - Twelve games into the 2012 season, the Jamaica Rastafarians clubhouse has been anything but civilized. So far in this young season there has been two fights in the locker room, rumors of shaving points, and a shit load of trash talk.

On opening day Rastafarians ace Horatio Barnes pitched eight innings and only alowed one run, leaving the game in a tie. After the game Barnes stormed into the locker room to find Rastas shortstop Toots Ritchie laughing and joking about the game. Barnes then proceeded to punch him in the face, throw him on the ground, and put him in the Boston Crippler.

As if this emotional outburst wasn't enough, later on in the week pitcher Cesar Coleman brought up the fight and asked Barnes what it was all about. Without uttering a word, Barnes grabbed hold of his cleats and started beating Cesar Coleman to the ground. Coleman is now being placed on the DL and will be out 4 to 6 weeks.

When we finally caught up to Horatio Barnes all he had to say was, "I understand this team is in a rebuilding phase, but when you go 0-2 in three starts and have a 1.66 ERA, you have to worry about something. When I see guys laughing about it I don't know how to feel. If something doesn't happen with these bats soon I might have to test the free agent market."

So has anything been done? No. Over the years it has been questioned if Rastas owner Eric Cochran even exists. Yes, we know he owns the team, he has owned them since the 2000 season. But where was he during the ammy drafts from 2000 to 2009? Where are his 83 contact, 83 power players? And why is it that when every time someone trys to reach him at his office they hear, "Pass the doobie to the left hand side!" on his answering machine?

After repeated attempts to contact Eric we finally caught up with him at the Eminem concert at the Shoreline amphitheater in Mountain View, California. We asked him how he felt about Barnes situation and what he had planned for his team this 2012 season.

"To tell you guys the truth, I didn't even know Barnes socked those guys. They probably deserved it. He's our stud, he can do what he wants, I've got my team right where I want 'em, my pitching is starting to solidify now i'm just working on the batters. It's hard to have both hitting and pitching at the same time, I tip my hat to all those teams that do. I realize that soon I might have to trade some of these pitchers to get the bats, so if Barnes keeps up this attitude or comes at me crazy, then he'll find him self as trade bait for all those play off bound teams, I can't hold that guy back forever, he's a winner and wants it real bad... a Weaverball title, that is."

With injuries to Coleman and Palacios the Rastafarians have decided to bring up super star pitching prospect Slim Davis to their active roster. His first start will be on April 16th against the Rio De Janerio Capybaras.
