TAEGU (South China Morning Post) - Fights broke out during game between Hong Kong Dragons and Taegu Tigers on Friday night. A brush off pitch is to blame for initiating this brawl. Dragons' pitcher Brian Barber deliver an inside pitch during the bottom half of 5th inning against Taegu hitter Carl Chalmers who fell to the ground to avoid getting hit. Both bench cleared after that.

Dragons' manager Jackie Chan was right in the middle of in all. A martial art master, Jackie Chan was seen taking on Taegu CF Braggo Hardy and P Calvin Tanner at the same time. Chan opened a serious can of whoop ass on them, landing Hardy on DL with fractured ankle and Tanner on the DL with severe on his pitching shoulder.

Even the Dragons' bullpen charged into the diamond to get a piece of the action. However, the casualty list of Dragons is much longer, especially hard hit were pitchers. Starting pitcher Barber sustained strained biceps, closer Dedeaux ended up with a pulled bicep tendon, pitcher Rob Nen strained his triceps, pitcher/poet W.B. Yeats is suffering from a tender shoulder.

Team media representative Janet Reno held a news conference to address this incident. "This is embarrassing. I am disgusted by the way our players conducted themselves on the field. We are professional athletes and also role models for young children. This is the wrong message to send to our kids." Weaverball Commissioner Jim Lockwood will hold a hearing on Monday to determine fines and suspension.
