TAEGU (AP) - The Taegu Tigers, in dead last place in the league, aren't dead as far as trading goes. In an aggressive effort to rebuild with youth and dump high priced players, the Tigers turned to division rival Rio de Janerio for help.

In a blockbuster trade, the Tigers send All-Star and future Hall of Famer right fielder Mel Ott, along with center fielder Miguel Mejia and catcher Jorge Posada to the Capybaras for catcher Dave King, southpaw pitcher Jim Bauers, Rio's 2080 and 2010 first round picks, as well as Conzumel's 2080 and 2010 picks, which Rio owns.

"I'm sad to go," comment Ott when he heard the trade news, "But, I think this is the best way I can help this team. There are alot of kids who aren't wet behind the ears yet running around the clubhouse. I figured my time would come soon. This is a good trade for both teams and I'm happy to be on a team competing for the Weaver Series Ring."

General Manager Ralph Kraskiewicz had only one thing to say after the trade. "Cozumel, we will see you in the Weaver Series!"
