DETROIT (AP) - Motown Miracles big right hander Cy Young was arrested during an autograph signing session at the Raddison Hotel in Detroit last Monday night.

Cy was signing autographs when a AP reporter asked him how he felt about Christy Matthewson winning the BL Cy Young award. This incensed Cy because aparently he had gone the entire off season without getting the news of who won the award and this was the first he had heard of it. Upon hearing the news, Cy stood up, knocking over the table he was sitting on and sending baseball cards flying everywere! A mad scene ensued, with women and children running and screaming from the irate Young. He flung his chair through a window which shatterd the glass, which fell into the swimming pool on the other side, injuring approxomately ten people. One person was injured seriously enough to be sent to the hospital with deep lacerations to his chest and stomach. It took five security guards to subdue Mr. Young who was heard yelling, "SON OF A $#$%#, I SHOULD WIN THIS DAMN THING! IT'S NAMED AFTER ME, DAMMIT!"

Cy was released after posting a two thousand dollar bail, he has a hearing next month.
