BORA BORA (AP) - Is no fan safe? After selling out for five years straight, with numerous pennants and Weaver Championships, the Belfast Bombers are taking off and are not looking back.

As new majority owner, Sean Uezu stated at the news conference, it's high time that the people of Polynesia get a team to call their own.

Mr. Uezu first tried to bring the Bombers back to his home in Hawaii. Unfortunately, Mr. Uezu not able to get a zoning permit for a new stadium in Kahala, Hawaii, so he has turned his attention to Tahiti. Talking with local government officials and businessmen, Mr. Uezu has secured land and a sponsor for the Bombers, now renamed the Bora Bora Surfriders.

Hinano Field, located on the island of Bora Bora in Tahiti has been modeled after the infamous Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, New York. It was an amazing effort by the people of Bora Bora, Hinano Beer Corporation and the Surfrider's new owners to have the stadium built in time for the new season.

Mr. Uezu finished off his press conference stating, "We did not just bring a team to Tahiti... we brought a winning team to Tahiti! This will be a franchise that all of Polynesia can be pround of... and the rest of league will fear!"

Will Bora Bora be able to maintain the winning ways of the Bombers, or will the Surfriders wipe out? Only time will tell.
