BELFAST (AP) - In the aftermath of a huge riot in downtown Belfast, the morale of loyal Bomber fans was surprisingly upbeat. After storming the entrance to the Bombers old stadium and lighting the home dugout on fire, the fans then strolled home as if their team had never left.

We caught up with one of those fans and here is what he had to say: "I'm glad they're gone now, but I'm sure they aren't. When Bora Bora comes to Dublin, they are gonna wish they never left Ireland. We are gonna miss those crazy celebrations after winning the Weaver Cup, but instead we get to bash heads with Dublin folk, it's gonna be good ole school yard ball."

Within 24 hours of the move, every seat at Republic Ballpark was sold out for the Disaster vs. Surfriders game. With profit on mind and the recent loss of high price superstar Babe Ruth, the Dublin Disaster have been searching for some vets that can come through for the team in 2011.

"My team is getting old, but I'm not ready to drop them for young guys and draft picks," said owner Tim Davis. "I'm not sure what to excpect from the crowd this year, but i'm sure the Bora Bora games will be interesting."

Only 6 hours after making this quote, Tim Davis reported that he is working out the last details of a trade with the new owner of the Tokyo Tsunamis, Mike Wilson. It is rumored that pitcher Pete Schourek and left fielder Rickey Otero will be heading to Dublin for the Disasters #1 pick in the 2011 draft (11th overall), low minor league pitcher Tom Maher, and young left fielder Doug Conrad. The Disasters also managed to pick up free agent catcher Tom Tulips, and currently have solid players at every posistion.

"The Dublin Disaster franchis is not afraid to fill the shoes of the Belfast Bombers. When I first moved this team to Dublin from Tokoyo I signed some big names so that I could give Belfast a run for their money and build some kind of rivalry. I didn't plan on filling the void when they left, that just happened." quoted Tim Davis.
