SADDAM HUSSEIN'S FEARLESS PROGNOSTICATIONS...
Story by Saddam Hussein

TAIPEI (AP) - I am recently named Taipei Typhoon manager Saddam Hussein. As you all know, I was formerly Baghdad Scuds manager, but some damn American ousted me! I very pissed at this and declare war of baseball on all American teams, Los Angeles, Amity, Motown, New York, Phoenix, Portland, Chicago, Atlanta, Honolulu, and their little British friends in Belfast and Manchester! I also declare war on every other team that does not start with the letter "T"!

My fearless prognostications (as I am Saddam, and I am always right) are that...

1. Bombay pitcher Bob Davis will not win Rookie of Year again.
2. No team will win more than 150 games in regular season.
3. A Mongolian team will not win World Series this year.
4. Mickey Mantle will not win Cy Young Award.
5. Neither will Addie Joss hit 50 home runs.
6. The Bombay Elephants will have tough time winning at all.
7. The Rio de Janeiro Capybaras will win more than 45 wins.
8. The Berlin Brewmasters will have no losses against Blizzard League teams.
9. I will use only fair measures to win baseball games--- no wait can't do that.
10. Taipei Typhoon will be best team in the Orient!
