Despite
losing some big names during the offseason (Ott,
Klesko, Ryan, just to name a few), the Capys still
get top billing in the rankings. Unless the rumors
regarding Smokey Joe Wood possibly being traded
prove to be true, the Capys will hold off some tough
competition in the Roehm this season. |

JOHANNESBURG |
The
Steelmen also had some significant offseason departures,
losing their corner outfielders, third baseman,
and some key components of their bullpen. But they'll
still have the most potent offense in the league,
and they get a full season out of 2014 Cy Young
Award winner Lefty Grove. |

YORK |
The
Nukes farm system has produced capable replacements
for their few offseason losses. Look for their young
hitters to take it to the next level this season,
as New York and Johannesburg fight it out in the
Lockwood Division. |

SICILY |
In
2014 the Godfathers ended a 14 year playoff drought
by winning the Barnes Division title. Losing Mike
Castro won't help their cause in 2015, but other
than that they're in good shape to make another
pennant run this season. |

HONG
KONG |
The
2013 Weaver Champs are still a force to be reconed
with in the Barnes Division, and will give Sicily
all they can handle this season. |

ARGENTINA |
The
Archers look to build on the surprising success
of their 2014 season. The addition of All-Timer
Harry Krause to their rotation keeps them ahead
of the pack in the Polanski Division, although I
wouldn't be completely surprised to see Bombay or
Honolulu give them a run for their money. |

HAVANA |
Tom
and Tim Nelson will be their corner outfielders
this season, leading parents throughout Cuba to
tell their kids to say a prayer for Vida Blue and
the rest of the Cigars pitchers every night before
they go to bed. That pitching staff is enough to
keep the Cigars the second best team in the Roehm. |

VANCOUVER |
The
Mounties' stock has steadily rose in the Roehm Division
the past few years, and will continue to do so this
year. Losing Ron Patrick Jr. to retirement doesn't
help, but nobody in the Roehm came out of the offseason
unscathed. |

BEACH |
As
has been the story the past few seasons, the pitching
is there but they'll probably have a tough time
scoring runs. |

EDMONTON |
Hey
look, four Roehm teams in a row! Edmonton could
be the surprise team in the division this year.
They've put together a nice lineup, good enough
that I was tempted to rank them higher, but until
those young pitchers of theirs can prove themselves
as consistent winners in the Weaver League they're
still just a notch below the rest of the pack. |

TOKYO |
The
lineup is solid, the pitching staff is coming together,
their rotation is anchored by All-Timers Steve Carlton
and Ron Guidry... It's just a matter of time before
Tokyo becomes a major player in the Blizzard League. |

HONOLULU |
I
get this feeling that the Volcs are going to surprise
this season. I don't know about them overtaking
Argentina but they've got a pretty nice lineup with
Rosen, Neel, McCoy and Co. So you never know. |

Goodbye
Marcelino Reams, the heart and soul of the Bombay
Elephants since they drafted him second overall
in the first ever Ammy Draft in 1997. |

I
say this team could become a contender in the Barnes
Division the day they call up young arms Johnny
Hubble and Todd Crosby. What are they doing toiling
in the minors? They're already ready already! |

TEHRAN |
The
most impressive thing about IL Rookie of the Year
Bob Schwert last season was that it was unfathomable
that the Knights would have any pitcher with a sub-3.00
ERA, much less a rookie! |

ANGELES |
Dazzy
Vance, they said he could throw a creampuff through
a battleship! The Riots will just be happy to
have him as the anchor to their pitching staff
as they continue the rebuilding process.

The
Cosmonauts are like a puzzle that definitely has
some important pieces in place, but still has a
way to go until you can see the big picture. |

BERLIN |
Congratulations
to the Brewmasters on escaping from the Power Rankings
cellar! The franchise is making the first significant
steps towards respectability in recent memory. Watch
out for rookies Chico Buttery and Rod Lewis this
season. |

Ed
Paskert is arguably the best young catcher in the
game, and the Rastas went out and got a few quality
veteran bats to boost the offense. Still, I can't
help but think it's gonna be another long season
in Rastaland. |

Counting
the days until Smokey Joe Wood retires... Yeah,
so is the rest of the league, but at least the Mayans
will get a new All-Timer when he decides to ride
off into the sunset. |

AMITY |
New
All-Timer Chuck Klein will put up some monster stats
during his career, just hope he doesn't mind waiting
a while for his first playoff appearance. |

STOCKHOLM |
Cairo
got almost a third of their wins last season against
Stockholm, going 8-10 against them last season.
For that reason alone the Swedes should be happy
I didn't rank them 23rd. |

you thought the Russian winter was bleak! Summer
in the Ukraine is God's cruel joke... if you're
a Mutants fan that is! |
